COVID 19 Update : February 2021 : Please note that since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, it hasn't been possible for me to offer craft market sales or onsite work. This will probably be the case for some months to come. Pre-ordered items are sill available for delivery, both free local delivery (see area covered) and mainland UK delivery by courier with chargeable P&P.
Free delivery applies to orders over GBP25 and to M35 and various points from Ashton to Marple and between Whaley Bridge and Bollington (Peak Forest canal and upper part of Macclesfield). Drop off points must be kerbside without parking restrictions. Deliveries to boats are possible to those moored near to the various bridges crossing the canals. Deliveries to marinas subject to covid restrictions, guidance and individual business. Areas covered include - Upper and Lower Peak Forest Canal (Whaley Bridge, Bugsworth, Furness Vale, New Mills, Disley, Marple, Romiley, Hyde, Dukinfield and Ashton)

Welcome to the Wicken Workshop website, based in North West England and offering decorative wooden items, practical pieces and light carpentry work for the home, boat and small space environments. In addition to stock items made with the house, garden, boat, cabin or caravan in mind, bespoke pieces can be created for the same according to a client's individual requirements. Boarding planks, stools, desks, benches, shelving, coat racks and a range of other 'made to order' pieces may be supplied in a selection of standard softwood/hardwood timbers and finishes or constructed to custom design specifications. Working with a combination of traditional and modern tools, from greenwood to reclaimed timber, each piece is unique and many variations in size, colour and materials are possible with most items that are made to order.
